Check Amp's account balance
Amp's pricing documentation lists amp usage, user settings, and workspace settings as ways to view a balance. Agent usage and Orb usage have separate units. Compare the same account and pool when checking another dashboard.
Track Amp in UsageAtlas
- Download the free UsageAtlas app for Windows, macOS, or Linux.
- Open Settings → Sources, find Amp, and expand Connect. Enter an access token created in Amp settings.
- Choose Save and check, then open Limits. Review available Free or Agent allowances, Orb hours, and personal or workspace balances.
UsageAtlas is open source and needs no UsageAtlas account for local tracking. Saved provider credentials use your operating system's encrypted storage and stay out of cloud saves.
Connect with an access token
You can start UsageAtlas with AMP_API_KEY instead of saving the token. This integration calls Amp's account service; it does not run amp usage for you or reuse a browser session. After changing an environment value, restart UsageAtlas so it can read it.
What this integration tracks
This connection reads current allowances and balances. It does not import per-request tokens, models, projects, or cost history. UsageAtlas shows a capacity meter only when the provider supplies enough information. A missing limit is unknown, not zero. See the connection documentation for supported fields.
Questions, answered
Can I add Orb hours to my Agent balance?
No. Hours and dollars measure different resources. UsageAtlas keeps those counters separate.
Will I see the cost of each Amp thread?
Not through this integration. Use Amp's thread details for thread costs; UsageAtlas currently reads account allowances and balances.
