/usage is not history
/usage answers right now. It does not keep a trail. If you want Claude Code usage history, you need something that recorded the days as they happened.
UsageAtlas writes local aggregates as you work. Open History, pick a day or a range, and you get tokens, requests, models, and estimated cost for that span.
A spike versus a habit
One ugly afternoon is not a trend. A week of 9pm peaks is. History against your own baseline is how you tell them apart before you change plans or models.
Filter to Claude alone, or leave Codex and Cursor in the mix so the history matches the stack you actually used.
