Anonymous usage stats

Anonymous usage stats, without sending your prompts

Use UsageAtlas without an account or choose free cloud save. Learn how local usage, saved history, and the separate anonymous install count are handled.

Quick answer

UsageAtlas works without an account. Usage stays on your computer unless you sign in for optional free cloud save. The anonymous install count excludes usage totals and can be switched off separately. Cloud saves are linked to your account.

Local tracking and optional free cloud save

Tokens, costs, limits, and history are processed on your device. No account is required. You can create a free account with Google or GitHub to save usage history and restore it after changing or losing a computer.

Cloud saves contain usage totals, hourly activity, public model breakdowns, and limits linked to your account. They are not anonymous. Prompts, coding-tool credentials, raw logs, and project and session details are not included. Only successfully saved history can be restored.

The anonymous install count is separate

If analytics are on, the app can send an anonymous install count. Your account name and email, provider details, usage totals, and costs are left out. Settings can switch it off without changing your cloud-save choice.

If you searched for a Claude traffic tracker, this is the wrong category. UsageAtlas tracks coding usage, not website traffic.

Questions, answered

Are usage stats anonymous?

The optional install count is anonymous and excludes usage totals. Optional cloud saves contain usage summaries linked to your account, so those records are not anonymous.

Is this a Claude traffic tracker?

No. It does not measure web traffic. It tracks Claude Code usage and other supported coding tools.

Can I run with analytics off?

Yes. Turn off the anonymous install count in Settings. Cloud save has a separate setting, and local tracking works without either.
