Kimi Code usage limit reached? Check your quota reset

Check which Kimi Code window has run out, find its reported reset, and monitor supported limits in the free UsageAtlas desktop app.

Quick answer

Check the exact Kimi Code limit message and the Console's reset time. A five-hour window, a weekly allowance, and a monthly quota are different limits. UsageAtlas can display the supported windows reported by your account so you know which one needs time to reset.

Download UsageAtlas for free

Identify the limit you reached

Kimi's error reference separates exhausted account quotas from temporary concurrency or service-overload errors. Repeated retries do not refill a depleted allowance. The applicable windows vary by plan, so start with the error and account Console rather than assuming everyone has a weekly cap.

Look at the reported reset

Check each window separately. Having monthly quota left does not necessarily mean the shorter window has capacity. In UsageAtlas, open Limits and read the remaining percentage and reset attached to that window. When Kimi does not return a reset, UsageAtlas leaves it unknown.

Set a reminder before the next limit

Connect Kimi Code, choose a remaining-capacity threshold for a supported window, and keep UsageAtlas running. It sends one alert per reset cycle. The app is free and open source; it monitors your allowance and does not change Kimi's limits.

Questions, answered

Will another Kimi API key give me more quota?

Kimi documents shared account quota across keys and devices. Check the current membership rules and your account's quota before switching keys.

Why is my quota missing in UsageAtlas?

Check that the Coding API key and region match. A failed connection does not mean the account has no remaining capacity.
