Quick answer
Your weekly limit resets at a fixed time each week that Anthropic assigns to your account. It is not the same for everyone and not tied to Monday. Find yours in Settings > Usage on claude.ai, or keep it in view with UsageAtlas.
Find your reset time
- On claude.ai or Claude Desktop, open Settings > Usage. It shows the next weekly reset.
- In Claude Code,
/usageshows your plan usage bars. - In UsageAtlas, the Claude card shows when each window resets.
The five-hour window is separate
The session limit runs in five-hour windows, so it resets several times a day. The weekly limit does not reset with it. The session vs weekly guide covers how the two interact.
Get a warning before it runs out
Set a UsageAtlas alert on the Claude weekly window at 20% or 30% left. One notification gives you time to save heavy work for after the reset.
